Mundia Situmbeko
Senior Officer for Africa Engagement
Mundia is a gender and development specialist with extensive experience across Africa. She has worked at grassroots, national, regional, and global levels to address harmful practices and advance gender equality through education and policy reform.
She currently leads the Girls Not Brides’ Education Out Loud program, which tackles child marriage through education, cross-sector partnerships, and meaningful youth engagement across seven Francophone West African countries.
In parallel, she supports the strengthening of national legal frameworks in Southern Africa, drawing on regional model laws to drive systemic change.
