Motseoa Nolwazi Tshabalala is an Adolescent Development Specialist (Learning and Skills) with UNICEF Lesotho. She leads initiatives that equip adolescents (ages 10-19) with the knowledge, skills, and opportunities they need to thrive in education and beyond.
With over a decade of experience in the education sector – spanning NGOs, government, and the UN – Motseoa has dedicated her career to advancing learning outcomes for Basotho children.
Her work focuses on providing upstream support to the Ministry of Education and Training, including policy strengthening, enhancement of data systems, and expanding access to quality learning opportunities for the most disadvantaged learners.
Motseoa is passionate about evidence-based education reforms and the use of data to drive equity, inclusion, and improved learning outcomes for Basotho learners.
